Dinner and a movie

The movie i chose for my dinner and a movie was "No Reservations" and i watched this movie/cooked dinner for my mom because she is always the one cooking in the house. This movie was based on two gourmet chiefs who compete with each other for Kate (top chief) spot as head chief. With all the gourmet meals that were shown being served during the movie you would think that i had chosen a gourmet meal as well. Wrong... i was inspired to make breakfast for dinner. During the movie when the Nick comes over to visit Kate and her niece Zoe he ends up spending the night and in the morning decides to make everyone breakfast. It shows him making pancakes with fruit and looked so good! While they began to eat their breakfast they agreed to one day open their own restaurant. In the end of the movie it shows both Kate and Nick working together in a kitchen, and shows Zoe going outside with a plate of pancakes. She is serving customers at her new restaurant called Zoe, Kate's, Nicks bistro. This was my favourite part of the entire movie because in the middle of the movie they decided on the name of their restaurant, and that breakfast meal was the mental creation of Zoe's, Kate's, Nick's. I found that part to be really cute and made me love the movie. I find it was a good way to end the movie on a sappy note. Therefore i was inspired to make a breakfast for dinner meal for my mom.  I made an egg with ham, peppers, and onions melted with cheese topped with a lightly toasted English muffin. Along with that i made hash browns and bacon. To top it all off the pancakes with fruits inspired me to toast a waffle and add a blend of mixed berries to top it all off with a scoop on vanilla frozen yogurt. I decided to cook for my mom because she cooks my meals every day and i felt that it was time to give back a little by making her this lovely meal and watching a movie with me. By the way she thought the egg was delicious and had reminded her of the western omelet my grandpa used to make. That was amazing to hear.
